Liquiter – Soil liquefaction software
Liquiter evaluates the liquefaction risk of soils during an earthquake using methods based on the ratio between the soil resistance to shear stresses (Cyclic Resistance Ratio, CRR) and the ones induced by the earthquake (Cyclic Stress Ratio, CSR).
The methods need parameters from both the seismic event and the soil deposit – the last ones are determined mostly using methods based on correlations of liquefaction resistance with parameters derived from in situ soil tests.
CARACTERISTICI
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The parameters used by Liquiter are: continuous dynamic tests (DP), static tests CPT, CPTE, CPTU, measurements of the shear waves Vs and seismic tests. Liquiter has a sophisticated data input system – direct input, import from *.txt files and import from other GeoStru programs (Static Probing, Dynamic Probing).

- Grading curve
For each method the software calculates, on an assigned step: lithostatic stresses, CSR, CRR, factor of safety to liquefaction and liquefaction potential index (LPI) of the entire soil deposit.
Liquiter offers detailed numerical reports: they can include the theoretical notes and graphics such as: stratigraphy, NSPT, Qc, Vs, Factor of safety. The graphics can be customized by the user through an advanced control panel.
